Q1: Does Liberty Task Force/Liberty Honor Guard have an age requirement?
A1: Yes, members must be 18 years or older. If a member of the fleet wants a younger family member to also be in the fleet (i.e. son, daughter, etc.), they must first officially vouch for them and would thereby be responsible for their conduct.

Q2: Are there any other requirements for remaining in the fleet?
A2: The only requirement we have for characters to remain in the fleet is that they must be active between each “roster cleaning”. In order for a character to be considered active, one must have logged into the game at least once every 60 days for Commanders and Captains; for Commodore ranks once every 120 days. Honorary Founder ranks are exempt so long as there is room in the roster. This criteria will only go into affect if the fleet reaches 500 characters (max roster). For more info on our ranks please visit: Explanation of Fleet Ranks and Honorary Founder Rank for more information.
A2.a: “Roster Cleanings” MAY occur 3 times a year. Once in February, June, and October; but will most often only be done when a fleet's roster (Fed/KDF) reaches its max and a new application comes in.

Q3: What if I need to take a leave of absence from the game, will I be kicked?
A3: If you plan to be away from the game for an extended period of time, you may let us know on these forums: Risa Shore Leave...(Leave of Absence) (please note this forum is only visible to members) and your characters will not be kicked.

Q4: Is there a minimum level that my characters have to be?
A4: No there is no minimum level that your character has to be. We welcome both veteran players as well as brand new ones still learning the game.

Q5: Can I have more than one character in the fleet and can I have characters in other fleets?
A5: Yes you may have more than one character in the fleet. Right now there are no restrictions on the number of alternate characters you may have in the fleet and you may have one or more characters in other fleets.

Q6: How do I join the fleet?
A6: Joining the fleet is simple. First you must register and apply through our website: Recruitment Page, once approved you will be sent an in-game fleet invite and your Clearance Level will updated on the website accordingly. You do NOT have to reapply in order to have more characters in the fleet (one application is all that is required).

Q7: When can I purchase from Fleet Stores and Fleet Shipyard?
A7: Access to purchase from Fleet Stores/Shipyard begins at Captain rank (100,000 total contributions to fleet holdings) for both the Fed and KDF fleets.

Q8: What are the fleet’s bank policies?
A8: Every rank has access to at least some parts of the Fleet Bank. As you increase in rank, your access to different parts of the bank goes up as well as the amount of items you may withdraw at one time. The Fleet Vault is only open to Vice Admirals. All we ask, is that you follow the “take a penny, leave a penny”. Feel free to withdraw what you need but give something back when you get the chance. We also ask that items withdrawn are actually used and not sold for EC. Also, should you require an item you do not have access to you may request it in these forums: Fleet Bank Requisitions (please note this forum is only visible to members).

Q9: What are the requirements for increasing rank in the fleet?
A9: In order to reach Commander rank, one must have a total of 100,000 total contributions to the fleet with each character in each respective fleet. Contributions can be in Fleet Marks, Dilithium, Duty Officers, etc. Rank increase is as follows:

  • Captain: 100,000 total contributions
  • STOFA: Temporary rank given to STOFA member fleet characters
  • Honorary Founder: 1,000,000 total contributions (currently locked on Fed side -  given during special events)
  • Vice Admiral: By vote of current Vice Admirals when a position is opened
  • Admiral: Upon vote of the Fleet Admiral (highest ranking Vice Admiral).
  • Fleet Admiral: Upon retirement of current Admiral, passed down to highest ranking Vice Admiral
  • For more info on our ranks please visit: Explanation of Fleet Ranks page

Q10: What voice server does the fleet use?
A10: The fleet uses TeamSpeak as our voice server for anyone who wishes to use it. The server has 35 slots available (2 reserved for admins) and is opened to any member or armada fleet. Our TeamSpeak is password protected, see the Admiralty or in-game fleet info page for password.

Q11: Are you required to "Team Play" at anytime?
A11: No you are not required to "Team Play" at anytime. While you are more than welcomed to participate in STF runs, fleet events/activities, and even join in our cross-faction armada channel and TeamSpeak, should you prefer to be a "lone wolf" player you are welcomed to do so as well.

Q12: Do I need the best gear to participate in STF's and "Team Play"?
A12: No you are not required to have the "best" gear or keep certain builds. You may use any gear and/or ships you wish and play the game as you see fit, so long as it does not interfere with other members' gaming. We welcome Lifetime Members, Gold Members, and Free to Play members all the same and we'll run STF's with everyone.
